WHF and its subcontractor, McCain Environmental Services, believes that the
composite sample taken of the treated soils represents the condition of the soils, which
is clean. However, we would welcome the opportunity to discuss with your
department any additional soil samples that you would like taken. The soils are still at
1320 W. Weber Street and have not been co-mingled with any soils that were treated
from that site.
We have enclosed the documentation requested in your letter, with the exception of a
work plan from the tank #4 area, which we believe is unwarranted. We look forward
to discussing this letter and receiving your input on the tasks to be performed. Thank
you for your comments; as always, they are appreciated.
Sincerely,
Steven J.
