The data for that area was waiting for " as directed by our client. After printing and distributing the approval to release", report (Oct. 28, 1993), it was discovered that the maps and sections for Tank 94 area were not included. Another report was released, with the missing data, dated Jan. 10, 1994 and should have reached your office. i QA/QC data sheets are being compiled by the laboratory and will be sent to our office as soon as possible. Copies will be forwarded to your attention upon receipt. 1 `In response to Paragraph 2: N I During the installation of MW-2, a 1088 ppm PID reading of the sample from 45 feet did occur as recorded on the Boring/Well Completion Log. As you know, the PID meter is a screening tool, only. It is not necessarily representative of laboratory results, as it measures a volume response in ppm of volitizing ionizable compounds in soil, which may or may not equate with lab results in mg/kg. Additionally, the PID is not specific for any one compound and other ionizable f compounds affect it's response.
