We are <br /> including the reports that you have not received previously and have notified the <br /> laboratory to send you the QA/QC data that you requested. <br /> fI <br /> We are also notifying you that the Bioremediation of the soils excavated from this site and <br /> transported for treatment to the Union Ice plant at 1320 W. Weber street had already <br /> begun some time ago. There may have been a misunderstanding between HKM and <br /> Associates and yourself regarding start up of the treatment. Mr. Mark Haynes of HKM <br /> informed WHF that you had given him a verbal authorization to proceed and he has done <br /> just that. If additional notification to you or your office was required neither Mr. Haynes <br /> oar WHF was aware of it. We sincerely apologize if Mr. Haynes has proceeded incorrectly, <br /> if that is the case. <br /> Your final request for a workplan for the Union Street site will not be forthcoming from <br /> _ WHF. Instead, attorneys for the Union Ice Company have hired Mr. John Farr to respond <br /> to you regarding future work at the site. -We do not--know"howv 16 contact Mr. Tarr -` <br /> directly, but if you have deadlines that you feel must be addressed you can contact the <br /> attorney for Union Ice Company, Mr. Jeff Lawson, of Reed, Elliot, Creech & Roth, at <br /> (408) 993-9911.
