PHS/EHD has the following comments for your consideration. <br /> The results of the June 23, 1992 sampling of MW1 indicated motor oil, 16.2 ppm, contamination. Motor <br /> oil, 12,000 ppm, was detected at the time of tank #3 removal. Subsequently, the sample of the re- <br /> excavation did not indicate motor oil contamination; however, oil and grease was detected, 285 ppm in,the <br /> north wall and 200 ppm in the south wall. Pliase include oil and grease analysis of future groundwater <br /> samples. <br /> Also, please note that during recent site inspections PHS/EHD has observed that the monitoring well <br /> traffic box is in disrepair. Please repair and/oi replace this"traffic box by September 30, 1992. <br /> PHS/EHD, in correspondence dated June 11, 1992, requested that a work plan be submitted by August 14, <br /> 1992. PHS/EHD has not received this work plan to date. Please submit this work plan by September'14, <br /> 1992. <br /> Continue to notify PHS/EHD 48 hours prior to sampling events. Please schedule the next quarterly <br /> sampling event by September 30, 1992.
