The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been addressed for A & D AUTO BODY as of March20, 2020. Paint dust generated from sanding vehicles is accumulated on the ground inside the shop. The paint dust is swept up and thrown in the garbage per the owner without first determining hazardous properties of the paint dust. Any person who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. Immediately make a hazardous waste determination for the paint dust, and manage it according the Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed. ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date): ❑ Supporting documents included Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: Violation #119- Failed to report program data in the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS). A submission to the California Electronic Reporting System (CERS) for the hazardous waste program has not been made. Beginning January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all new(or any changes to existing) hazardous waste information online to the CERS at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov.
