Hazardous Waste Accumulation Area <br /> Waste is processed and stored in the Hazardous Waste - <br /> Accumulation Area in the back room. Waste is scanned, <br /> placed in heavy self-sealing plastic bags, and stored by — <br /> waste category in separate totes. This helps prevent ` <br /> incompatible chemicals from mixing together. Our <br /> vendor picks-up waste periodically and transports it <br /> to a disposal facility. } <br /> The hazardous waste categories and their abbreviations <br /> are listed below.
