( CGRS ) is pleased to submit the following Scope of Work for the removal and closure of one <br /> ( 1 ) 10 , 000 gallon underground storage fuel tank ( UST) located at your facility . CGRS will provide all <br /> supervision , labor , material , and parts as specifically described in the following scope of services to <br /> remove the UST' s and associated piping . CGRS will obtain permit(s) from the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department ( CUPA) and the City of Stockton Fire Department to remove the UST <br /> system . CGRS will work with A . E . COM to obtain the required soils testing per State Water Resources <br /> Control Board , Fire Department , and Health Service Department requirements . Once final results of soils <br /> tests are completed CGRS will submit closure report to San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department ( CUPA) and Fire Department . Soil sampling , Soils Report , and Closure Report by others . <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES : <br /> Task #9 — Pre-tank removal activities: <br /> • CGRS will obtain permits to CUPA & Fire Department <br /> Mark location of utilities <br /> Notification of dig alert before excavation <br /> Prepare site for tank removal as required <br /> Schedule delivery of temporary fencing <br /> Schedule tank cleaning and tank disposal <br /> Schedule soil test sampling <br /> Schedule bottom check ( inspection ) <br /> Task #2 — Remove existing Underground Storage Tanks (UST) <br /> • CGRS will saw cut , demo concrete , and asphalt above the tank pit . The demo area shall not <br /> exceed 30 feet in length by 10 feet wide by up to 13 ' feet deep for tank removal <br /> • CGRS will excavate ( 1 ) UST' s and stockpile soil onsite according to San Joaquin Valley Area Air <br /> Quality District requirements <br /> CGRS will saw cut and demo dispenser concrete pad and underground fuel piping <br /> • Pump ( 1 ) UST of remaining product and remove sludge <br /> Wash ( 1 ) UST with rinse liquid , and dispose of rinseate by permitted hauler to permitted <br /> recycler/dumpsite (total volume up to 700 gallons ) <br /> • Soils testing by state certified laboratory as required by CUPA to be performed by others <br /> • Disposal of ( 1 ) UST tank by certified hauler to permitted recycler and provide certificate of <br /> destruction <br />
