The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for BOERSMA FARMS, LP as of March 20, 2020. <br /> Open violations from October 24, 2019 inspection <br /> Violation#113-Failed to keep copies of consolidated manifesting receipts for three years. <br /> OBSERVATION: Copies of the following consolidated manifest receipts from October 24th 2016 to October 24th <br /> 2019 for hazardous wastes including used oil and used oil filters were not found on site during the inspection. With <br /> emphasis on the following: <br /> -016050950JJK(09/27/2018) <br /> Note: Operator states that he takes used oil filters to O'reilly's Auto Parts located on 1551 W Main St, Ripon, CA <br /> 95366. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The generator shall retain each consolidated manifest receipt for at least three years. <br /> This period of retention is extended automatically during the course of any unresolved enforcement action regarding <br /> the regulated activity or as requested by the department or a certified unified program agency. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately locate a copy of all consolidated manifest receipts from October 24th 2016 to <br /> October 24th 2019 and maintain them on site. Please begin keeping a log of used oil filters taken to O'reilly's auto <br /> parts store, make sure log contains the following information quantity, description, location of disposal site and date. <br /> Provide a copy of the consolidated manifest receipts and a corrective action statement to the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#301 -Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: Used oil observed stained on the ground in used oil filter drainage location. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:A hazardous waste generator must maintain and operate its facility to minimize the <br /> possibility of a fire, explosion, or any unplanned sudden or non-sudden release of hazardous waste or hazardous <br /> waste constituents to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately clean used oil stains. Manage the waste according to Title 22 California Code <br /> of Regulations for hazardous waste. Submit a statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department describing the storage and final disposition of the cleaned up waste. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br />
