The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been addressed for BOERSMA FARMS, LP as of March 20, 2020. Open violations from October 24, 2019 inspection Violation#113-Failed to keep copies of consolidated manifesting receipts for three years. OBSERVATION: Copies of the following consolidated manifest receipts from October 24th 2016 to October 24th 2019 for hazardous wastes including used oil and used oil filters were not found on site during the inspection. With emphasis on the following: -016050950JJK(09/27/2018) Note: Operator states that he takes used oil filters to O'reilly's Auto Parts located on 1551 W Main St, Ripon, CA 95366. REGULATION GUIDANCE: The generator shall retain each consolidated manifest receipt for at least three years. This period of retention is extended automatically during the course of any unresolved enforcement action regarding the regulated activity or as requested by the department or a certified unified program agency. CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately locate a copy of all consolidated manifest receipts from October 24th 2016 to October 24th 2019 and maintain them on site. Please begin keeping a log of used oil filters taken to O'reilly's auto parts store, make sure log contains the following information quantity, description, location of disposal site and date. Provide a copy of the consolidated manifest receipts and a corrective action statement to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department. ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): ❑ Supporting documents included Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: Violation#301 -Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. OBSERVATION: Used oil observed stained on the ground in used oil filter drainage location. REGULATION GUIDANCE:A hazardous waste generator must maintain and operate its facility to minimize the possibility of a fire, explosion, or any unplanned sudden or non-sudden release of hazardous waste or hazardous waste constituents to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately clean used oil stains. Manage the waste according to Title 22 California Code of Regulations for hazardous waste.
