GP will authorize
the planned activities upon your review and approval of this Work Plan.
Background
On November 21, 1994, a Brown and Caldwell field technician found that well
BC-11 had been damaged. The protective steel casing had been removed from
the ground and the polyvinyl chloride casing was damaged to 14 inches below
grade. The casing was sealed with a friction plug and buried for protection.
As reported in the July 1995 monitoring report, wells BC-9 and BC-10 were
buried earlier that year when the adjacent irrigation canal was dredged and
spoils were placed on top of the wellheads. The locations of these three wells
are illustrated on Figure 1.
Scope of Work
At the time of their installation a California-licensed surveyor determined the
latitudinal and longitudinal coordinates of wells BC-9,BC-10,and BC-11.
Brown and Caldwell will contract a licensed land surveyor to relocate the
approximate locations of these wells. We will also attempt to locate wells
BC-9 and BC-10 using a metal detector. Once the approximate locations have
02/04/00\\BCPFB.01\WP\18420\Lewers\18420-001\Well lk6ab l.d.\ms
