The bimonthly groundwater monitoring is conducted
in association with the removal of chloroform from the shallow groundwater north of the
former Georgia-Pacific Corporation Tracy, California chemical packaging plant. The
laboratory analytical results from the January 1992 groundwater samples have been added
to the data table which summarizes the analytical results compiled since June 1985, when
groundwater remediation commenced. The data summary table and copies of the laboratory
analytical reports for the January 1992 samples are presented in Attachment A. A ground-
water elevation contour map, based on water level measurements from January 8 and 9,
1992, along with a table summarizing water level measurements taken in monitoring wells
at the site since June 1985, are presented in Attachment B.
Fourteen monitoring locations, thirteen groundwater wells plus the air stripper effluent, were
scheduled for sampling in January 1992, but only eight monitoring locations could be
sampled. Groundwater monitoring Wells BC2, BC3, BC4, and BC5 located immediately
