FJO FqM •
fc
f
OLIVECOP.V
r-7
MUSGO
April 8, 2008
Mr. Mike Infurna
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
600 E. Main Street
Stockton, CA. 95202
RE: Additional Info—Well Permit Application
Dear Mr. Infurna,
Enclosed please find 1) two maps taken from the workplan (Figures 19 and 20),which
show the locations for the proposed wells, and 2) a schematic of the proposed wells
which will contain conductor casings. I apologize for the sttyettue of the workplan,it
wasn't completely clear. I have circled the locations for the wells and annotated as
applicable.
Figure 19 shows the locations of well"clusters" (two wells next to each other, separate
boreholes). This well permit application is only seeking to drill"Proposed soil boring
#4" (figure 19) and"Proposed Deep Well #5" (figure 19), and four"PD"wells found
on figure 20.
Soil boring#4 corresponds to Well#4 on the application and is anticipated to be a deep
boring. If shallow groundwater is encountered at this location,it may be completed as a
well, and another boring will be advanced to depth right next to the original boring.
This is a total of two wells at"Proposed Soil Boring#4"location (Fig 19).
After our April 4'meeting with RWQCB staff,it was resolved that"Proposed Deep
Well #5"will only be one well. There will be no second well at this location. I have
attached a revised application to reflect a total of 7 wells (as opposed to 8 wells in the
original application).
Regarding wells that will have a steel conductor casing, the following information
applies:
• Drill Method—Hollow Stem Auger. Auger diameter: 15".
• Conductor Casing Material—Steel, 8 5/8" ID, 8 7/8" OD (1/8"wall thickness)
• Conductor Casing Length—From ground surface to approximately 100 feet bgs.
MOBCO FAMILY OLIVE CO. 17950 VIA NICOLO,TRACY,CA 95377 td209-836.4600 1=209.836.0518 uw&WWW.OLIVES.COM
