The review outlines changes and comments <br /> regarding the workplan that should be met prior to the implementation of the workplan. This <br /> letter has been prepared following telephone conversations with Mr. Tim O'Brien and Ms. Kim <br /> Schwab of the RWQCB on March 19, 2002 to address those requirements. The italicized <br /> requirements are outlined below, followed by a bulleted response. <br /> "Section 4 of the report presents an implementation schedule. Please be aware that the Time <br /> Schedule Order requires submittal of the Groundwater Monitoring Well Installation Report by I <br /> May 2002. Failure to meet the deadline may lead to a penalty of S2,500 per day lata " <br /> • Musco Family Olive Co. is actively pursuing a course of action for the implementation of the <br /> groundwater-monitoring network. Musco Family Olive has retained Kleinfelder Inc. <br /> (consultant) as seen on the workplan to oversee the implementation of die workplan in a <br /> timely manner. The installation of the monitoring wells is scheduled to begin on March 25, <br /> 2002. <br /> • 'Please make the following changes to the well locations on Plate 2 <br /> - Add a well downgradient of the 95 acre land application area. The well should be <br /> located in the drainage in an area near the railroad track. " <br /> - Move the well in the 35 acres of new irrigared pasture to the northeast, resulting in a <br /> more central monitoring location downgradient of the application area.
