The <br /> purpose of the C&A is to formalize the scope of technical studies, operational improvements, and <br /> facility improvements to be completed by Musco Olive Products, Inc. and the Studley <br /> Corporation (Discharger) to control wastewater applied to land and dissolved solids in the <br /> wastewater applied. The C&A sets forth a specific scope of work and enforceable time schedule <br /> for compliance. <br /> The C&A includes requirements that the Discharger immediately come into compliance with the <br /> existing Waste Discharge Requirement Order No. 97-037; prepare and implement a contingency <br /> report for disposing of wastewater during the wet season 2000/2001; design and construct <br /> wastewater treatment and disposal system improvements; and complete technical studies of the <br /> impact of wastewater application on soil quality, groundwater quality, and on crops grown on the <br /> property. <br /> A draft version of the C&A was issued to Musco Olive Products, Inc. and the Studley <br /> Corporation for review and comment on 17 October 2000. No comments were received.
