In particular , included in this <br /> " Site and Safety Plan " are exerts from occupational Safety <br /> +� and Health Guidance Manual for Hazardous Waste Site <br /> Activities in reference to PPE ( Personal Protective <br /> ' <br /> Equipment ) . <br /> r <br /> Eye and Face Prot6ction (29 CFR 1910. 133) <br /> Eye and face protection is required when there is the <br /> potential for on-site injury. Particular information on <br /> goggle, spectacles, and face protection is provided to all <br /> employees and covered in the initial 40 hour training and <br /> reviewed in the annual re-training program for all employees <br /> L of VCI of California. All sub-contractors must meet the <br /> minimum safety requirements and training as accepted by VCI <br /> of California Health Safety Coordinator (HSC) . <br /> All employees are to wear protective eye wear and .or face <br /> shields when entering the work: site area, eye protection is <br /> provided to all employees by the health and safety <br /> 46m coordinator for each particular work: site. <br /> occupation Head Protection (29 CFR 1910. 135) <br /> ,. On-site situations requiring head protection include: <br /> presence of overhead objects, on-site operations of heavy <br /> equipment , potential for flying objects in the work area, and <br /> possible electrical shock: hazards. All employees and site <br /> personal are required to wear head gear protection that <br /> affords limited protection from electric shock: and burn and <br /> meets ANSI 269. 1--1.969 specifications. <br /> W <br />
