Always Work Safe <br /> Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) provide detailed information on products and their chemical content <br /> including potential hazards and protective measures. You can review the SDSs available in your <br /> store binder, emailing hazardouswaste@dollartree.com, or by contacting our vendor "3E" for <br /> assistance at 1-800-451-8346. <br /> The quickest way to learn about the safe use and handling of a product is to check its <br /> label. The label typically carries one of the following "signal words" to alert the user to <br /> potential hazards: <br /> • "DANGER" is the most hazardous, signaling a product capable of causing serious injury or <br /> death on its own —without exposure to heat, water or other chemicals to trigger a reaction. <br /> • "WARNING" means the product could potentially cause serious injury or death, but would <br /> likely require another chemical, water or heat to react. <br /> • "CAUTION" is used on products containing chemicals that could potentially result in <br /> moderate injury. <br /> Many potentially hazardous products are also labeled with symbols or "pictograms" like those <br /> shown below. Incompatible chemicals can create serious health hazards such as <br /> noxious or corrosive fumes, fires and explosions. <br /> • Always wear disposable gloves and safety glasses when processing waste or cleaning up a <br /> hazardous spill.
