SAN J O A Q U I N Environmental Health Department <br /> C 0 u "� T yi AMENDED <br /> 3/20/2020 <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> CALIFORNIA CONCENTRATE CO 1 18678 N HWY 99 , ACAMPO February 25, 2020 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 301 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: Observed oily liquid on the floor immediately adjacent to the secondary containment platform in <br /> the hazardous materials storage area that was not cleaned up. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:A hazardous waste generator must maintain and operate its facility to minimize the <br /> possibility of a fire, explosion, or any unplanned sudden or non-sudden release of hazardous waste or hazardous <br /> waste constituents to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately clean the oily liquid. Manage the waste according to Title 22 California Code <br /> of Regulations for hazardous waste. Submit a statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department describing the storage and final disposition of the cleaned up waste. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 303 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination <br /> equipment. <br /> OBSERVATION: In the hazardous materials storage area, observed oily liquid inside the secondary containment <br /> platform. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:All facility communications or alarm systems,fire protection equipment,spill control <br /> equipment, and decontamination equipment,where required, shall be tested and maintained as necessary to assure <br /> its proper operation in time of emergency. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Bring the secondary containment platform into proper working order by cleanup, repair, <br /> replacement or testing.
