SJCCDD <br /> owners whereby a guaranteed minimal acreage of alfalfa <br /> would always be in production. This guarantee would be <br /> accomplished by designing a master decade-by-decade alfalfa <br /> rotation plan to which all farm owners and operators must <br /> adhere. It would also specify what crops would be beneficial <br /> to hawks during the normal one-year soil reconditioning <br /> period between alfalfa rotations. Other provisions of the <br /> agreements would focus on the vegetation of irrigation ditch <br /> banks and the dedication of small segments of land <br /> throughout the area to fallow plots on which natural <br /> vegetation could develop. <br /> 4.13-1(d) The management and enhancement plan should clearly state Establish monitoring SJCCDD: SP; O; yearly <br /> -- that rodenticides should be strictly prohibited along with the program for review by DFG for first five <br /> use of any wildlife "scare guns."
