As I stated I had chosen not to sign
the form presented to me by your inspector due to the following three items which I felt were
incorrect;
Item #1 Preparation and Prevention, Section 66265.34
The referenced section regarding the need for immediate access to emergency
communication we meet. The plant site has more then 20 phones located outside of offices
and all areas are within 50 yards of one of these phones.
Item #2 Contingency Plan, Sections 66265.5 & 66265.55
Our contingency plan has always been complete with two emergency contacts as found in
our Hazardous Materials Management Plan on file with the Office of Emergency Services
(attached).
Item #3 Personnel Training, Section 66265.16
I presented your inspector with position summaries for employees handling hazardous
waste, as well as showed him my training records (attached), at the time of the inspection.
I did not feel required to name my employees who fill the position, however I am now
including that with the attachment.
