Project Name/No: T.S. - W.S/5062. <br /> TREATMENT DILUTIONS (mg/L): 2-i0, 750 and Control run in soft carbon filtered tap <br /> water mined with deionized water of 40-48 mg/L hardness and in duplicate with 10 fish/6 L <br /> tank and 20 fish/treatment. <br /> TESTING PERIOD: Received 10/16/93; Tested 10/19/95 - 10/23/95. <br /> BIOASSAY TEST(S): Fathead minnow (Pimephales promelas) 96-hour static Hazardous <br /> Waste Toxicity. <br /> METHODS: BES's Hazardous waste �iquatic toxicity test protocol is based on "Standard <br /> Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater", 18th Edition, American Public <br /> Health Association, 1992; California'sTitle['itle 22 Code, Section #66261.24(a)(6); "Static Acute <br /> Bioassay Procedures for Hazardous WIste Samples" (Polisini and Miller, 1988), California <br /> Department of Fish and Game; and as certified by the State of California's Department of <br /> Toxic Substance Control (CA. EPA). <br /> SUMMARY: <br /> Fathead minnow 96-hour percent survi ial in Control was 90%. <br /> Fathead minnow 96-hour percent survival in the test concentrations was 100% for 250 mg/L, <br /> 100% for 500 mgt, and 100% for 750 mg/L. <br /> The 96-hour LC50 = >750 mg/L. <br /> The transcribed data sheets, statistics t nd chain-of-custody for these tests are enclosed.
