Immediately mark and manage all empty containers per this <br /> section. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(d) Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days. <br /> A 55 gallon black steel drum of used oil was observed in the hazardous waste storage area labeled only with the <br /> contents. Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of <br /> waste stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. Immediately contact a licensed hazardous <br /> waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> -A 55 gallon black steel drum of oily absorbent was observed in the hazardous waste storage area with no hazardous <br /> property. <br /> -Used oil was observed accumulated on the tops of several drums inside the hazardous waste storage area. <br /> -A one gallon bucket of used oil was observed with no labeling in the hazardous waste storage area. <br /> -A 55 gallon black steel drum of used oil was observed labeled only with the contents. <br /> All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words "Hazardous Waste" <br /> -name and address of generator <br /> -hazardous properties (ignitable, corrosive, reactive, toxic) <br /> -physical state (liquid, solid) <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> Page 8 of 10 <br />
