At one time this building was used as a machine <br /> maintenance shop. Due to the nature of the work performed, samples of <br /> the sump were taken to determine if it was PCB contaminated. Laboratory <br /> results indicate that the sump contains Aroclor 1221 at 101 parts per <br /> million (ppm), and Aroclor 1242 at 30 ppm. <br /> The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Environmental Section in San <br /> Bruno has been contacted so that this sump may be added to the existing <br /> environmental project for building 816-B.
