tN1- EXPENSE <br /> - <br /> HAZARDOUS WASTE FACILITY CLOSURE PLAN <br /> COLLECTION FACILITY NEAR BUILDING 803 <br /> AMENDMENT NO. 1 <br /> The closure plan for the Hazardous Waste Collection Facility is amended as <br /> follows: <br /> I. METHOD OF CLOSURE: <br /> H. As a part of the closure of this facility , the oil contaminated water <br /> collected in the 1,600 gallon above ground tank will be analysed for PCIS <br /> contamination. If the liquid is contaminated at 5 ppm PCB or greater, the <br /> contents of the tank will be disposed of as PCB contaminated material. The <br /> tank will then be decontaminated and turned in to Defense Property Disposal <br /> Office (DPDO) for reuse. If the liquid contains less then 5 ppm PCB, the <br /> liquid will be drained into an oil/water separator and the tank will be <br /> turned in to DPDO for reuse or disposal . DPDO will be advised that the <br /> tank previously contained oil contaminated water. <br /> Enclosure (1) <br />
