Navy <br /> Commanding Officer <br /> Stockton, California 95203 <br /> Dear Captain Johnson: <br /> APPROVAL OF THE CLOSURE PLANS FOR THE WASTE OIL STORAGE TANK NEAR BUILDING <br /> 816 C, DRUM AND TANK STORAGE AREA IN LOT A-804, AND CONTAINER STORAGE AREA <br /> IN BUILDING 816 D, NAVAL COMMUNICATION STATION, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> The 30-day comment period has expired and no comments were submitted on the .4 <br /> closure plan for the waste oil storage tank near Building 816 C, drum and <br /> tank storage area in Lot A-804, and container storate area in Building 816 D <br /> at Naval Communication Station. Because there were no comments submitted on- <br /> the plans, the closure plars have been approved and the closure schedule may <br /> begin. Please remember that a closure permit for the waste oil storage <br /> tank near Building 816 C must be issued by the San Joaquin Local Health <br /> District before closure may begin. <br /> When the closure of these areas is completed, the following must be conducted <br /> before the Department of Health Services (DOHS) will consider each individual <br /> areas closed: <br /> 1 . California Engineer's certification of closure per each closure plan <br /> submitted to DOHS. <br /> 2.
