Unzip or remove PPE during breaks and results of personnel monitoring. Provide <br /> drinking water and/or electrolyte replacement drink. Record the time and duration of all breaks and <br /> results of personnel monitoring. Heat stroke victims must receive emergency medical care. <br /> ❑ Hypothermia/Frostbite Symptoms: <br /> ✓ Hypothermia: Shivering, apathy, loss of consciousness, <br /> decreasing pulse and breathing rate. <br /> ✓ Frostbite: White, then grayish yellow progressing to <br /> grayish blue skin, cold, numb part. <br /> Mitigation: Wear multilayer cold weather outfits covered by a wind resistant fabric. Take <br /> frequent breaks in a warm, sheltered area. Provide warm non-alcoholic drinks. For frostbite victims <br /> ' warm injured part gradually, do not rub!
