RECEIVED <br /> FORWARD INC LANDFILL <br /> 9999 S AUSTIN RD,MANTECA JUL 17 2018 <br /> CERS ID: 10182195 <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH <br /> UI:PtIZ'ENIL.N <br /> Inspection Date:June 14,2018 Inspected By:JOHN ALANIZ <br /> Item:102 CCR 66262.11 Failed to determine if a waste is a hazardous waste. <br /> Correction: It was concluded on inspection by landfill site manager that the yellowish mixture was an <br /> oil/water substance. It was then disposed properly into the waste oil tank.Training has since been <br /> conducted and mechanics are instructed to follow disposal protocol and labeling. <br /> CLASS II VIOLATION <br /> Item:301 CCR 66262.34(d)(2)Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> Correction: Maintenance yard has been thoroughly cleaned and there are no oil debris/grease sweep in <br /> the area.Supplies that were used to clean have been disposed of properly. Training was taken shortly <br /> after to ensure that there was a safe and well maintained/well-kept area according to Title 22 hazardous <br /> waste regulations. Mechanics have been instructed to use absorbent diapers to help reduce the risk of <br /> any other spills and stains. <br /> CLASS II VIOLATION <br /> Item:403 CCR 66262.34(d)(2)Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or <br /> removing hazardous waste. <br /> Correction: Following the inspection, all lids covering all 55-gallon hazardous waste drums have been <br /> replaced with quick release lids to ensure that drums stay completely shut when they are not in use. <br /> Since, mechanics have been trained to ensure that all containers are to remain shut other than when <br /> adding or removing waste. <br /> CLASS II VIOLATION <br />
