El Pinal Drive, Stockton, California <br /> Ms. Luces, <br /> Network Environmental Systems (NES) is submitting the attached Return to Compliance <br /> Certification on behalf of the Stockton Unified School District (SUSD). The facility received <br /> a Notice To Comply during an inspection on May 1, 2006 with a return to compliance <br /> deadline of June 1, 2006. In a letter dated May 22, 2006, NES requested an extension of the <br /> return to compliance deadline to July 1, 2006 for the items addressed below. The following <br /> statements and attached documents address the following items identified on the Notice to <br /> Comply. <br /> Item Number 94: A facility specific Spill Prevention Control & Countermeasures (SPCC) <br /> plan has been prepared for SUSD. The SPCC plan covers the storage of petroleum-based <br /> materials and wastes stored in aboveground tanks and containers. The SPCC plan has been <br /> reviewed and certified by a California Registered Professional Engineer as required by <br /> 40CFR §112.3(d), and a copy of the Certification Page with the engineer's signature and <br /> registration stamp are attached. <br /> Item Number 64: The required elements for the certification of the 500-gallon used oil tank <br /> are found in the Spill Prevention Control & Countermeasures (SPCC) Plan. The engineer's <br /> certification on the SPCC also covers the required assessment of Stockton Unified School <br /> District's hazardous waste tank. <br /> A copy of the completed SPCC plan is available for inspection at the Stockton Unified School <br /> District facility.
