El Pinal Drive in Stockton. The facility received a Notice To <br /> Comply during an inspection on May 1, 2006 with a return to compliance deadline of June 1, 2006. <br /> NES requests that the return to compliance deadline be extended to July 1, 2006 for the following <br /> inspection items: Item Number 64: Hazardous Waste Tank Certification, and Item Number 94: <br /> Spill Prevention Control & Countermeasures Plan(SPCC). The assessment and certification of the <br /> 500-gallon waste tank is being performed in conjunction with the registered engineers review and <br /> certification of the SPCC plan. <br /> This extension request is intended to allow sufficient time to prepare the SPCC plan in accordance <br /> with the requirements of 40 CFR parts 112.7 & 112.8. This includes evaluation of storage and <br /> conveyance systems, secondary containment and diversionary devices,potential discharge rates, <br /> and evaluation of flow direction and fate of released materials. <br /> The remaining items documented on the May 1, 2006 Notice to Comply have been remedied. A <br /> Return to Compliance Certification for these remaining deficiencies will be submitted to your office <br /> with the appropriate statements, documents and/or photos no later than June 1, 2006. <br /> Stockton Unified School District and NES appreciate your consideration in this matter.
