AR TIE
VI. ASSESSMENT: EFFECTS OF WASTE MANAGEMENT APPROACHES
Stockton Unified School District (SUSD) did not generate the amount of waste
that requires reporting specified in the SB 14 regulations in 1998; therefore, the
site has not developed and assessed waste management approaches. Hazardous
waste generation rates cannot be calculated using any of the methods for
estimating the source reduction achievements since accurate waste generation
data is not available prior to 2002.
However, much of the overall increase of waste generated from 1998 through
2002 can be attributed to the consolidation of school wastes at the Facility
Services site, The consolidation of school wastes at the Facility Services site and
the decision to consolidate products/materials no longer used and dispose or
recycle them as wastes led to the overall increase in the amount of waste
generated.
Stockton Unified School District 9 NETWORK ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEMS,INC
Hazardous Waste Performance Report
