Stockton Steel currently sends the blaster dust and other metal waste to a
recycler. Keep metal recycling receipts for all metal waste leaving the site for three years and have available for
review by Environmental Health inspectors.
A hazardous waste determination, as defined by Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66262.11, can
only be made by the waste generator(Stockton Steel).
Thank you,
Garrett Backus
Senior Registered Environmental Health Specialist
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
600 E Main Street,Stockton CA 95202-3029
telephone: (209)468-2986
fax: (209)468-3433
email: gbackus@sjcehd.com
From: Juano, Derric [mailto:derricj@herricksteel.com]
Sent: Thursday, September 09, 2010 1:28 PM
To: Garrett Backus [EH]
Subject: Chromium VI results
Garrett,
Attached are the results for the chromium VI tests.
