This is one of <br />the most important phases in hazardous waste management. It accomplishes two important <br />requirements: <br />A. Identification: Indicates what is in the container, where it came from, possible hazards, <br />how long it has been accumulating, and who the generator is. <br />B. Labeling: Indicates source, provides regulatory information, and aids in tracking. <br />The labels must be filled in appropriately, legibly, and accurately. This improves the timeliness <br />of storage and disposal. See Chapter 2: Hazardous Waste Storage for further details. The <br />Figures are as follows: <br />A. Hazardous Waste <br />1.
