Immediately <br />close these containers, or place the waste in properly closed containers, and ensure all hazardous waste containers <br />are closed when not adding or removing waste. <br />This is a Class 11 violation. <br />601 <br />CCR 66262.34(a) Stored hazardous waste on site longer than 90 days without a permit or authorization. <br />A 55 gallon blue steel drum of contaminated water was observed in the storage building with an accumulation start <br />date of November 20, 2014. Facilities who generate more than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month may store <br />waste on site up to 90 days. Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under <br />manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHID. <br />This is a repeat violation, Class 11. <br />605 <br />CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste. <br />The following were observed in the shop with incomplete labeling: <br />-A 55 gallon black steel drum of absorbent with no hazardous property <br />-Three yellow rolling used oil tanks with no hazardous property or physical state <br />-Two 5 gallon buckets of metal shavings with no hazardous property <br />-A blue antifreeze container, just outside the shop doors, with the generator information faded and illegible <br />The following were observed in the storage building with incomplete labeling: <br />-A 55 gallon blue steel drum of contaminated water with no hazardous property <br />-Four 55 gallon steel drums of liquid waste with no hazardous waste labeling. According to Mr. Hoyle, these drums <br />are awaiting pick up by the hazardous waste hauler, Safety Kleen. <br />-A drain tray under oil hoses containing oily liquid with no labeling. <br />All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br />- the words "Hazardous Waste" <br />- name and address of generator <br />- hazardous properties (ignitable, corrosive, reactive, toxic) <br />- physical state (liquid, solid) <br />- composition (contents) <br />- accumulation start date <br />Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required <br />information. <br />This is a repeat violation, Class ]I. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />Page 7 of 8 <br />
