Activate internal facility alarms or communication <br /> systems, where applicable, to notify all facility <br /> personnel , and <br /> 2. Notify appropriate State or local agencies with <br /> designated response roles if their help is needed. <br /> The Emergency Coordinator will provide the fire department <br /> personnel and equipment as necessary to control any fire <br /> hazard. <br /> Plan of Action <br /> Initial Report <br /> 1. Anyone may reportt -a fire or thr.at of fire. Fires are <br /> to be reported to either the Emergency Coordinator on <br /> duty, the Fire Department, or the Plant Superintendent <br /> if no phone is available at the site. <br /> 2. Persons discovering a fire will also* take immediate <br /> ' action, if feasible, to control --t'he' fire. The dis- <br /> coverer must report the fire before taking immediate <br /> action. <br /> 3. The emergency response team will take action to contain <br /> the _ fire using appropriately trained personnel and <br /> specifically designated fire suppression chemicals or <br /> water, depending upon the nature of the fire as <br /> follows: <br /> Type of Fire Fire Suppressants <br /> Electrical wiring, outlets, panels, CO2 only <br /> equipment <br /> Flammable materials (wood products, CO2 foam agents only <br /> combustible fuels, chemicals, and <br /> water reactive substances <br /> X-12 <br />
