Swift Transportation, Lathrop, CA <br />Waste Oil Tank Assessment Report <br />Title 22 CCR, 66265.192(k)(6) --Description and evaluation of any spill prevention or overfill a ui men <br />Comments: None. <br />Title 22 CCR, 66265.192(k)(7) --Description and evaluation of the secondary containment for the <br />tank system (including ancillary equipment). The secondary containment must be designed to <br />contain 110% of the largest tank. <br />Comments: Double wall Tank. <br />Title 22 CCR, 66265.192(k)(8) --Hazardous waste characteristics of the waste(s) that have been or <br />will be handled. <br />Comments: Used Oil (NFPA Code — Health (1), Fire (1), Reactivity (0), and Specific Hazard (None)). <br />Title 22 CCR, 66265.192(k)(9) --Independent, qualified professional engineer's inspection of the <br />system for the following; <br />(A) Weld cracks or breaks <br />(B) Scrapes of protective coatings <br />(C) Corrosion <br />(D) Any structural damage or inadequacy construction or installation cracks, punctures <br />damaged fittings. All discrepancies shall be documented in the assessment and remedied before the <br />Comments: <br />The Professional Engineer has confirmed that the integrity of the AST at this facility has not been <br />compromised by any of the above-mentioned conditions. Corrosion or rust on the roof panel is because of <br />flat panel with lack of sufficient surface slope. Therefore, roof panel shall be painted with anti -corrosive <br />paint. <br />Title 22 CCR, 66265.192(k)(10) --All new tanks and ancillary equipment shall be tested for tightness <br />prior to being placed in use. The results of the test(s) shall be documented in this assessment. <br />Comments: <br />Results of tests at the time of installation are not available at the site. <br />Title 22 CCR, 66265.192(k)(11) --Estimated remaining service life of the tank system based on <br />findings of subsections k(1) through k(10). <br />Comments: <br />Tank appears to generally in good condition, and is estimated to have remaining life of 12 years. <br />Page 5 of 5 <br />
