MOBILE EQUIPMENT DIVISION <br /> SAFETY PROGRAM <br /> • Goal: Implementation of our Zero Injury Program. Daily do whatever it <br /> takes to successfully attain our commitment that all employees of our <br /> division come to work and get home without and injury, accident or <br /> incident. <br /> • The safety specialist is responsible for the research, design, and <br /> development of our safety program. <br /> • The vice president, superintendents, foreman safety specialist and all of <br /> our employees in our division are responsible for the implementation of <br /> our safety program. <br /> BILL OF RIGHTS <br /> • All employees of the Mobile Equipment Division have a Bill of Rights that <br /> is supported by our vice president, superintendents, foreman and safety <br /> specialist. <br /> • The Bill of Rights guarantees that under no circumstance will one of our <br /> employees be required to perform an unsafe act to accomplish their job. <br /> • The Bill of Rights addresses the following areas: <br /> o Encountering an unsafe condition. <br /> o Allowance of enough time to evaluate the safety of the work area. <br /> o Request additional assistance. <br /> o Empowered to stop production if the employee does not have the <br /> required tooling to perform the job safely. <br /> o Defer work if the work area is unsafe. <br /> o Given the time to participate in safety training. <br /> o Have safety suggestions reviewed in a timely manner. <br /> o Be treated with dignity and receive the proper medical treatment <br /> should they be injured. <br /> o Disciplinary action for performing an unsafe act. <br /> SAFETY SPECIALIST CERTIFICATIONS AND ORGANIZATIONS <br /> • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) <br /> • Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST) <br /> • National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) <br /> • American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) <br />
