Used Anti -Freeze Tank Assessment
Teichert Mobile Equipment
120 Frank West Circle.
Stockton, CA
Tank is a cylindrical aboveground double wall tank.. Tank is constructed with polyethylene
which is compatible with the material stored.. The tank is provided with one external suction
pump for transferring used anti -freeze from trucks in to the tank. The pump uses flexible hoses to
transfer used anti -freeze. Drawing of the tank is attached. Tank is approximately 12 years old.
Leak detection is by visual inspection as the tank is translucent and a leak into the secondary
space can be seen from the outside.
Corrosion protection equipment is not necessary as no part of the tank is constructed of steel.
Overfill protection is provided by visual inspection.
Secondary containment is provided by integral secondary tank. Only used anti -freeze is stored in
the tank
Results of visual inspection: Internal tank was examined through 16" diameter opening in top of
tank. No evidence of damage to interior of primary tank. No evidence of physical damage to
secondary tank. Corrosion is not an issue.
Since the tank is constructed of non -corrosive materials, the remaining service life of the tank
should be 20 years or more depending on keeping the tank away from direct sunlight (it is
currently located under a roof).
I certify under penalty of law that this document and all attachments were prepared under my
direction or supervision in accordance with a system designed to assure that qualified person Q FE st-
properly gather and evaluate the information submitted.
