There is adequate containment capacity for failure of the 500 GA
primary"hazardous waste" containing waste oil AST.The concrete pad readily supports the subject
waste oil AST.
Within the adjacent shop area are a filter drain container,a highly visible pneumatic ARD 1 IN transfer
pump. and piping combined with a device to limit pumped transfer of waste oil to the AST and prevent
overfilling in the event of operator inattention.
The warehouse finished concrete floor,as well as the exterior abutting concrete floor, provide a
Continuous Release Detection Method (CRDM)with visible indication of spillage prior to ground contact.
Daily observations for visible signs of leakage are to be recorded by Imperial Truck Wash and Repair staff
in keeping with the facility's Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures program.
Records are to maintained on site for 3 years.
The tank is in good order and functioning well as of September 2018.
Daniel K.
