ASSESS <br /> ■ Assess the spill, determine if you can handle it <br /> ■ If you are not sure, notify a department lead/supervisor or the safety coordinator for assistance <br /> 2. Control <br /> ■ Leaking container- immediately place the leaking container on a second containment pallet <br /> ■ Contact a department lead/supervisor or the safety coordinator for assistance <br /> ■ Properly label the second containment container with a "new" hazardous waste label identifying <br /> the product that is leaking.
