With that in mind,
P.C.P treated the substance as hazardous, disposing of it in
compliance with State & Federal regulations.
P.C.P. immediately after the inspection cleaned up the oil
around the compressor. All maintenance employees were
instructed to report all spills. They also were instructed
that the use of an absorbent was not sufficient for clean-up
or for control of a spill.
P.C.P. immediately stopped the use of the incorrect Label
Container marked Solvent Paint as an oil filter container
drain. The small amount of oil filters generated will now be
drained directly into our oil recycling drum.
