Box 2009 <br />Stockton, CA 95201 <br />Dear Mr. McClellan: <br />This letter is written to confirm that the underground storage tanks by Building 611 at Sharpe <br />Site will not require removal permits due to their use. <br />The tanks were used to store engine testing facility cooling water. The tanks have not been <br />used since the early 1980's when the building was converted to a non -destruct facility. <br />Test results indicate that the water in the tanks is considered non -hazardous per Title 22 of the <br />California Code of Regulations and Title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations. <br />If you have any questions concerning this matter, please contact Mr. John Guzman, <br />Environmental Engineer, telephone (209) 98 -2093. <br />Sincerely, <br />DAVID C.
