(1601 East Hazelton Avenue) • Stockton, California 95201 <br /> (209) 468-3400 <br /> Facility Name C FZ <br /> icE <br /> Address 1/9/9 Al La,/&-f <br /> Date of Inspection Inspector ft/yy <br /> MONITORING ALTERNATIVE #7 <br /> Limited to underground storage tanks which have infrequent inputs <br /> and withdrawals and where the liquid level in the tank can be <br /> measured to an accuracy of +5 gallons or less when the tank is <br /> half full. <br /> This monitoring alternative shall include: <br /> ,� Annual precision test on tank and piping. <br /> Tank�auging performed as follows: <br /> Tank must be capable of being secured to prevent <br /> unauthorized inputs and withdrawals. <br /> V Tank must have no inputs or withdrawals for at least <br /> a 48 hour period (2 days) at the end of consecutive <br /> periods lasting up to 7 days. <br /> (For example: tank in use Monday through Friday, <br /> then locked over weekend) . <br /> Liquid level measurements are taken at the beginning <br /> and end of the monitoring period (lasting at least 48 <br /> hours) . <br /> (For example: level measured and recorded <br /> Friday night before locking and <br /> again on Monday morning before <br /> opening. ) <br /> VX'If liquid level varies more than 1% of the tank volume <br /> or 5 gallons, which ever is less, between <br /> measurements, an unauthorized release shall be assumed <br /> to have occurred and shall be reported to the local <br /> agency within 24 hours, as per Article 5, Sect. <br /> 2652 of the regulations and further evaluations <br /> shall be performed to verify or disprove the <br /> variations. <br /> Implementation of the monitoring alternative requires that the <br /> following circled items be completed by the dates specified. <br /> 1. Precision test(s) must be performed by �{1 -// lL and <br /> 0 <br /> results submitted to this office within 30 days of the test. <br /> C2 .) Tank gauging must be started immediately.
