WNOLOGY- N
May 13, 1998
Michael Kith
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Division
304 E. Weber Ave. Third floor
Stockton, CA 95202
Dear Mr. Kith,
With regards to your letter dated April 29, 1998 in reference to the Shell station located at
2575 Country Club Blvd., Stockton. Shell Products Co. has asked me to respond to the
compliance issue stated in your letter.
For your review I have attached another copy of our 1998 test results. These results show
this station is equipped with double wall fiberglass tanks and lines, turbine sump
containment, dispenser containment and both over fill and over spill devices. All systems
are monitored by a Veeder Root TLS 350 system.
The tanks are equipped with both in tank probes and secondary containment monitors.
The product lines are monitored with both sump sensors (designed with positive shut of!)
and mechanical line leak detectors. The dispenser pans are also equipped with electronic
monitoring devices.
To my knowledge the equipment at the above noted location meets and exceeds all
upgrade and monitoring requirements shown in Title 23, of the California Code of
Regulations.
If you have any further questions or concerns on the monitoring equipment please contact
me at 209-365-1246.
Respe tfully,
e Belloli
Tanknology-NDE
1420 West Kettleman Lane • Suite T • Lodi, California 95242 • (800) 964-0180 • FAX (209) 365-1543
