Thank you for all your help.
We have requested by the owner to RFI Environmental Health regarding the
requirement for a vent transition sump. Namely, original plans called for both
underground product (return and supply) and vent piping to transition to above
ground through a single transition sump. However, for various reasons, they have
Modified the vent piping to extend along and around the building. The question is:
are we allowed to transition from underground vent piping to above ground vent
stack without a transition sump?
We believe that the transition sump is required per AS2481 but need confirmation to
go back to the general/owner.
Thank you.
Best Regards,
Dejan Ristic
Western Pump, Inc.
3235 ''F" Street
San Diego, CA 92102-3315
office: 619.578.2193
Cell: 619.446.9043
Fax: 619.236.7406 or 239.9925
10/26/2007
