If the <br /> failed component can't be replaced immediately, there is a possibility that the diesel UST system may be red tagged <br /> to prevent fuel inputs. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class ll. <br /> 320 HSC 25290.1(c3), 25290.2(c3)Secondary containment not constructed to prevent water intrusion. <br /> Water was found in the diesel remote fill sump and diesel fill sump. Randy Roerich confirmed that the boot for the <br /> remote fill bucket was not properly clamped on. Secondary containment shall be constructed to prevent any water <br /> intrusion into the system by precipitation, infiltration, or surface runoff. During the inspection,Afford-a-test technicians <br /> removed liquid and placed it into the facility hazardous waste drum, repositioned the remote fill bucket boot properly, <br /> and tightened the boot band clamps to keep the remote fill bucket boot on. Continue to remove any liquid that may <br /> enter the sumps, make a hazardous waste determination per Title 22 hazardous waste regulations, and manage <br /> accordingly. Corrected on site. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class ll. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> On site to conduct a routine inspection and witness the annual monitoring system certification testing. <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by 11-8-15. <br /> Please be aware that as of January 1, 2014, facility operators are required to upload the following UST program <br /> documents into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS): UST Monitoring Site Plan, UST <br /> Certification of Financial Responsibility, UST Response Plan, UST Letter from Chief Financial Officer (if <br /> applicable), and the Owner Statement of Designated Operator Compliance. The UST Owner/Operator: Written <br /> Agreement, if applicable, can be stored at the facility or uploaded into CERS. <br /> Note: <br /> Technician Zane Nimmo verbally provided his Veeder Root Technician TLS-XXX expiration date as 9-28-17. The <br /> Veeder Root list of certified technicians lists his expiration date as 9-26-15. A voicemail was left with Veeder Root <br /> requesting confirmation of this technicians actual certification expiration date.
