Drillinl spoils and developmental water <br />will be stored on-site for proper treatment or disposal. This will <br />minimize contact and dispersion of potentially contaminated <br />materials. <br />If" necessary, upon exit from the work site, loose debris will be <br />removed from protective clothing by brusing or rinsing. Gloves and <br />boots will be decontaminated in a 5* solution of trisodium phosphate <br />and rinse6 with water which will be disposed of on-site. Respirator <br />cartridges, per - filters, iyiner gloves and coveralls vvill be p1aced <br />in a drum on-site for disposal. No one will exit the site with <br />contaminated clothing or equipment. <br />If t�e �otential exists for fire, explosion or toxic material <br />r�lease during �n-site activities, prior comonsncement of any <br />activities, personnel will have available telephone numbers and <br />contacts for resp1:jnse assistance including,: <br />o Ambulance <br />Co Fire Department <br />o Hospital <br />o P�ison Control Center <br />o C.:,mmunity Evacuation Contact <br />Emerg�ny eqoipment on-site will include: <br />ID Portable eyewash bottles <br />o Industrial first aid kit <br />S�l <br />A�r�ss during all on-si�e activities will be restricted to <br />eu��orize6 persennel. At <br />a minimum the following monitoring will bv pepfortned° <br />A direct reading detection (c/ID) meter (HNU PI 101 <br />or equivalent) will be used to monitor the concentrations of <br />erganic vapors in the work area. Measurements will be taken at <br />least once every 15 minutes durin� sorface and subsurface sample <br />collection. Tke meter will be calibrated for benzene. Total <br />organic vapor me�surements will be nsed to determine the <br />appropriate levels of respiratory protection and conditions for <br />si1;e evacuation.
