Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pol ution <br />Control District for any applicable permits and requirements. <br />2. Qualified service technicians must possessor work under the direct and personal <br />supervision of an individual physically present at the work site who rossesses all <br />of the following: <br />a. One of several permissible valid, current contractor's licenses issued by <br />the Contractors State License Board (may be, issued to the ins tallation <br />company), and <br />b. A valid, current California UST Service Technician certificatf issued by <br />the International Code Council (ICC), and <br />c. A valid, current certificate of training f1-om the manufacturer(s) of the <br />component(s) being tested, repaired, or serviced, and <br />d. Each person installing or testing any component must hold a certificate of <br />training from the manufacturer of that component. <br />3. Permit expires 180 days from date of approval. Note: If an. extension to the <br />expiration date is required, a written request must be submitted to this office prior <br />to the expiration date. <br />4. All components must be certified by an independent testing organization and <br />labeled as required by the organization. (UL, ULC, ANSI, API, ASTM, etc. See <br />California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 23 Chapter 1.6 Table B for complete <br />list).
