WESTERN FIBERGLASS INC. 1-800-688-3375 <br /> DISPENSER MOUNTING ASSEMBLY (D TM) <br /> Summary <br /> The Dispenser Mounting Assembly Containment System is installed in conjunction with the product <br /> dispenser and in accordance with the manufacturer's installation instructions. The Dispenser <br /> Mounting/Containment System shall contain environmentally hazardous fluids that might leak from any <br /> piping terminations,fittings,and flex-hoses contained within the Dispenser Mounting/Containment <br /> Assembly, shall insure,using U.L.Listed mounting systems for both dispenser base and safety valves,that <br /> safety valve poppet activation occurs in the event of dispenser knock-down without damage to either <br /> mount frame system and shall be manufactured by Western Fiberglass,Inc. <br /> System Specification <br /> 1.01 System Suitability <br /> The Dispenser Mounting Containment System shall: <br /> A. Provide secure,independent,U.L.Listed mounting assemblies for both the dispenser base <br /> and shear valve that shall be anchored in concrete for transfer of stress and loading. Such <br /> that shearing action occurs at the shear valve upon dispense4r impact without damage to the <br /> mounting frameworks. <br /> B. Provide a means to prevent surface, ground,run-off or -down water from entering the <br /> - containment system. <br /> C. Contain any release of environmental contaminants from the dispenser and/or fittings <br /> contained within the Dispenser Mounting/Containment System. <br /> D. Provide full access to all piping termination's,fittings and hoses contained within the <br /> Dispenser Mounting/Containment System. <br /> E. Accommodate an explosion/flame suppressant barrier to prevent flash fire. <br /> F. Be available U.L.Listed in FRP construction. <br /> 1.02 Construction Specifications: <br /> A. Meet or exceed United States National Bureau of Standards PS-15-69 for Custom contact- <br /> Molded Reinforced-Polyester Chemical Resistant Process Equipment or U.L.Listing if <br /> applicable. <br /> B. Be constructed of materials that are not harmful to the environment. <br /> C. Be suitable for petroleum products and blends including methanol and ethyl alcohol <br /> mixtures. <br /> D. Have a thirty(30)year warranty against corrosion. <br /> 1.03 Release Monitoring shall: <br /> A. Allow full visual inspection of all piping reductions,fittings,and hoses. <br /> 1.4 Piping Penetrations shall: <br /> a Provide locations for the installation of fluid tight pipe and conduit penetration seals to be <br /> installed according to manufacturer's instruction <br />
