Flashguard shall provide a three(3)dimensional fire screen and flying object <br /> barrier, installed after plumbing and electrical connections have been made. Flashguard <br /> shall be suitable for retro-fit into existing installations and shall require no service or <br /> maintenance. Flashguard shall be supplied by Western Fiberglass, Inc. <br /> System Specifications <br /> 1.01 System Suitability <br /> FlashGuard shall: <br /> A. Provide a flame suppressant barrier that prevents flame from passing through <br /> Flashguard material. <br /> B. Provide flying object barrier, to prevent objects propelled by explosion from <br /> penetrating Flashguard material. <br /> C. Be installed in new or existing containment devices. <br /> 1.02 Construction Specifications: <br /> A. Be constructed of materials no harmful to the environment. <br /> B. Be suitable for petroleum products and blends that include methanol and ethyl <br /> alcohol. <br /> C. Be removable for full physical inspection of containment area piping and <br /> fittings. <br />
