In addition, annual refresher training is also provided to the employees. <br />The training program includes the topics noted below. Documentation of the training <br />is also maintained for the employees. <br />Employees are trained in proper procedures for handling hazardous materials <br />coordinating with emergency response agencies, using emergency response <br />equipment and materials, and implementing the emergency response plan. <br />rllui• • <br />R ff IN ONE <br />Internal alarm notcation <br />w/ External emergency response organizations notification. <br />Location and content of emergency response plan. - <br />Safe methods for handling and storage of hazardous materials. <br />Proper use of personal protection equipment. <br />Locations and proper use of fire and spill control equipment (such as fi <br />extinguishers, absorbent materials, utility shutoffs, first aid supplies, et <br />V Specific hazards of each chemical to which they may be exposeld <br />including the pathways of exposure (e.g.: skin adsorption, inhalation, a <br />ingestion). <br />Emergency response team members (if applicable) are additionally trained in the <br />following procedures: <br />• Shutdown of operations. <br />• Use, maintenance, and replacement of emergency response equipment. <br />OEM <br />All personnel receive emergency response training within 6 months of hiring and <br />annual refresher training. The following training records are maintained for each <br />employee: <br />Type and amount of introductory and continuing training. <br />Date that training was completed. <br />Former employees' training records are retained at least 3 years. <br />M <br />
