UJNER :Zi��if�f I1Z N <br />This Work Plan describes the proposed procedures for soil excavation and sampling <br />performed in conjunction with the replacement of underground storage tanks at ARCO <br />Products Company (ARCO) facility No. 2093, located at 3425 Tracy Boulevard, Tracy, <br />California (Site). The existing single-wall underground storage tanks (USTs) and product <br />piping will be removed and new double-wall USTs and piping will be installed in about <br />the same locations as the removed tanks and piping. This Work Plan is being submitted <br />prior to UST replacement activities in order to obtain authorization from the San Joaquin <br />County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) to conduct <br />the scope of work described in this work plan. The UST replacement project will not <br />begin until this Work Plan is approved by PHS-EHD. <br />This Work Plan has been prepared by Roux Associates (Roux) in accordance with the <br />following documents: <br />Central Valley Regional Board Staff Recommendations for Initial Evaluation and <br />Investigation of Underground Tanks (Tri -Regional Recommendations), <br />• Appendix A of the Tri -Regional Recommendations, and <br />• Leaking Underground Fuel Tank Manual (LUFT): Guidelines for Site <br />Assessment, Cleanup, and Underground Storage Tank Closure. <br />The work described in this Work Plan will be performed by Roux personnel under the <br />direction of Mr. Todd Ramsden, California Registered Geologist No. 5687. <br />,F ) A 1' 0 CON <br />ARCO Facility No. 2093 is an operating self-service gasoline station and ARCO AM/FM <br />mini -market located at the northwest comer of the intersection of Tracy Boulevard and <br />Clover Road in Tracy, California (Figure 1).
