Shell Oil Company agrees to remediate
contaminated soils and groundwater to the satisfaction of the
California Regional Water Quality Control Board. In the
event that Shell and the Board cannot reach an agreement on
other means of remediation and as a last resort, new tanks
and lines may be removed to access contamination beneath the
tanks.
It is hoped that this will serve to expedite approval of the
site assessment work plan submitted by Delta Environmental
Consultants, Inc.
Should further information be required, please contact me at
the above address or via telephone at 1-800-451-2799.
Your very truly,
D.L.
